Type, scope, and purpose of processing server log data

Every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored here are logged to enable the use of the website.

The following are logged in detail:

  • Name of the accessed page
  • Date and time of retrieval
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Duration of the visit
  • Notification of successful retrieval
  • Requesting domain
  • IP address (in anonymized form)
  • Browser and
  • operating system used
  • Device type (tablet, smartphone, etc.)
  • Device brand and model

This data is not merged with other data sources. The only recipients of the data are the responsible body and, if applicable, contract processors.

The server log data is automatically deleted after 90 days.



Type, scope, and purpose of processing personal data when contacting us (e.g., using the contact form on our website or by email)

If you contact us with any questions, e.g., via the contact form or email, you give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of contacting you. Providing a valid email address and your name is required for this purpose. This serves to assign the request and subsequently answer it. Providing further data is optional. The information you provide, including the personal data you submit, will be stored for the purpose of processing the request, for possible follow-up questions, in the event of a legal obligation, and for legitimate commercial interests.

To protect the security of your data during transmission via the contact form on our website, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g., SSL) over https.

Data protection information in the application process

We process applicant data only for the purpose and within the scope of the application process in accordance with legal requirements. Applicant data is processed to fulfill our (pre-)contractual obligations within the application process.


The application process requires applicants to provide us with their applicant data. The necessary applicant data is derived from the job descriptions and generally includes personal information, postal and contact addresses, and the documents required for the application, such as a cover letter, resume, and references. Applicants can also voluntarily provide us with additional information.


By submitting their application to us, applicants consent to the processing of their data for the purposes of the application process.


The data provided by applicants may be further processed by us for the purposes of the employment relationship in the event of a successful application. Otherwise, if the application for a job offer is unsuccessful, the applicants' data will be deleted. Applicants' data will also be deleted if an application is withdrawn, which applicants are entitled to do at any time.


Subject to a legitimate revocation by the applicant, data will be deleted after a period of six months so that we can answer any follow-up questions regarding the application and fulfill our documentation obligations under the Equal Treatment Act.


Existence of automated decision-making

As a responsible company, we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

Changes to our data protection policy

We reserve the right to amend this data protection policy with future effect to ensure that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection policy, e.g., when introducing new services.
